S.E. Olson's Uptown Gourmet was founded in 1989 by Owner and Chef, Sean E. Olson. Sean grew up in a home with two gourmet cooks for parents where he developed his love for food and honed his cooking skills. After graduating from Morrisville College in upstate New York with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, he began his career as a chef for a law firm in Boston. While catering parties for the firm’s lawyers and friends, he discovered a new passion and decided to branch out on his own. Today’s business model includes Full Service Corporate Dining, Wholesale Food Sales, Corporate and Residential Catering.

Corporate Dining: Companies are looking to Uptown Gourmet because we are able to provide our customers with the one-on-one service and attention they desire. We know how difficult it is to retain staff at all levels and food can be a great benefit. Our philosophy is simple: Provide outstanding food and service in a safe, clean, and fun environment for a reasonable price. We realize each company is different, so we design our cafe concepts to meet the needs of the individuals at each company. Corporate Catering: Whether it is a small internal luncheon, a customer sales meeting, a large grand opening, a company holiday party, or an associate summer barbecue, we pride ourselves on being able to meet all your corporate needs. At our café in HealthPoint, we can provide you with an off site location to hold a meeting or conference accommodating up to 200 guests with onsite audio and visual equipment available. We are also on the preferred list at several area catering and function facilities.

Catering: We specialize in making that most special of days; your wedding a memorable experience. Our wedding coordinator has had many years of experience in planning weddings and putting prospective brides and grooms at ease. We can also provide you with the finest fare for a simple birthday celebration, bar mitzvah, or an elaborate holiday dinner party. If your party has outgrown your home, we have special partnerships with several catering facilities throughout the greater Boston area. With our experienced wait staff and creative executive chef we will make everyone one of your events a memorable one.
